Comment notifications and our Contact Us form have now been restored. If you have any problems with how the site is working please leave a comment here or use the Contact Us form

Apologies to all for the outages, but TimesforTheTimes is now running again on its standard address and the temporary one is no more. I need to do a few more changes to get comment notifications and our contact form to work, but everything else should work as normal. Let me know if you find something that doesn’t. Meanwhile there may be a few glitches in access due to some configuration changes still propagating. You may still get some errors – if you do clear your browser cache or access in incognito mode.

In response to users’ enhancement requests and in reaction to security concerns now our site is being noticed, this weekend’s site changes are as follows …

Some minor enhancements have been made today [click the title to read more].

This has been requested by a lot of users as something they found useful on Livejournal. From today, all commenters, unless they opt out (see below) will receive a notification email  to their registered email address whenever someone replies to one of their comments . [Read the full blog post for more details].

The site has been open to all for a week now with no significant problems. Hooray! So now we can start thinking of enhancements. Thanks to all who have provided suggestions via the Enhancement Suggestions page or Contact Us Form. Today, two of the most popular that were not too hard to do have been introduced…

A handful of people who are registering for this site are in the “Pending” state awaiting for them to verify their email address using the link in the verification email the system sends. If you are one of these, check your “Spam” folders. If you still can’t find the email use the Contact Us form under the Help menu to let us know and we’ll manually approve you.
