Hold the date: Saturday 13th June 2026 from 1200 at The George, Southwark. We are having another informal summer gathering-something for your diaries, and to allow travel plans to be made.

Some people may be interested in the Times Crossword Championship, which was held yesterday at HQ in London.

It has been announced that this will take place on Saturday 11th October from 10:45 to 17:30 at The Times offices in London.

Thanks to all who came yesterday. It was a great day. In total there were about 30 of us and it was nice that Mick Hodgkin (Times Puzzles editor) and Jason Crampton (Times Crossword editor) were able to join us. You can see some photos from the day on my blog here.
