To help us manage numbers, it would be helpful if you can indicate whether you intend to stay on after the prize giving for the reception. Please let us know by Monday 14th October.

The Grand Final, prizegiving and speeches at the reception will also be streamed on The Times YouTube channel for those unable to attend. [See below].

Update from Mick Hodgkin, Puzzles Editor..
“Unfortunately due to technical limitations we will not be livestreaming the event after all but I will post a video of the final, prizegiving and tributes to Richard Rogan after the event has finished”
Good luck everyone. Would like to meet a few folks but in foreign climes so can’t make it (for the second year) but looking forward to seeing some of John’s photos. 🙂
John – is the drinks reception open to non-competitors or is it just for competitors? If the latter, will you be gathering elsewhere later in the evening, ie after 5.30, at a watering hole where others can join you?
Many thanks
Cedric
I think the drinks reception is only for competitors at the Championship, although there may be some special invitees. I can’t speak for anyone else, but I intend going to The George after the reception finishes – my train home is not until 9pm.
Thanks, John. Mrs S and I will be at the George after the reception as well.
I’ve reserved the two tall tables next to the door of the Coach House (across courtyard from the George) for the afternoon. See you there later, all.
