  1. I’ll see you there John, loved it in 2023. Might need access to a large screen if the Aussies have taken more than three days to finish off the Saffers in the WTC final.

  2. I’d love to come to one of these, and sad I can’t make it, but as Del Boy used to say, “This time next year…”
    Have a great time

  3. ‘One day’ from me too…

I would love to come to one of these as a lot of you seem to know each other personally from the dialogue I read in the comments. It would be great to meet some of you as real people but unfortunately I have to go and visit some friends in Cornwall this year.

Perhaps a lot of you also go to the Chamionships so maybe I should look in there some time as well.

      1. You only need to bring your ball along if you want to learn how to grip the ball to throw the new kick change. (And if you can find it, AND if you have a proper protective case to carry the precious artifact in).

  4. Really sorry to miss it this year after really enjoying last year. It’s a concert day for me so look forward to next year. Have fun!

  5. I was hoping to come but unfortunately will be on a plane to the US. Hope you all have fun and the sun shines. I’ll raise a glass after take-off.

  6. Alas and very sadly I have a competing lunchtime engagement. I may be able to join by say 3.30, or could be there for a coffee at 11.15 if anyone is around earlier.

    1. Cedric, my only experience of this event saw me bundled on to a late-night train by Keriothe, so 3:30 shouldn’t be a problem.

  7. I thought I posted this already, but it’s not here.
Here’s an idea: Someday, we could have a virtual meet-up, via Zoom or Google Meets or some such, at some time convenient for most of our far-flung correspondents.
    Right?
(Though this is supposedly the summer of cheap flights…)

  8. Very sad not to be there – away for the weekend in Norfolk. I’m going to make it one year!

  9. Sadly missing this one – hope to be present for a 20th-anniversary one close to 2 Dec, as that was the when I started the (usually) one-blogger version.

    1. Sorry you wont be there this time, Peter, but good idea for a 20th Anniversary get together in December.

  10. Play golf on a Saturday and won’t finish till after two, so it’s a pass from me. Enjoy yourselves!

  11. I would love to have been able to pop in and say hello but I’m afraid it’s a long way from Geneva for a couple of beers!

    Have a great time everyone.

  12. Sadly on a course all day. Would love to have come. Have a great time all. Maybe next year…
