Hello again. This crossword I thought was about average, so easier than some we’ve had recently, and a very pleasant outing.

I bunged in several answers with a shrug knowing they had to be correct but still having doubts about the clues.

I did not find this as easy as a typical Monday.   I did start quickly, but I was left at the end with a series of interconnected missing answers across the middle of my printout.

66:52. At 41 minutes I texted vinyl, “Three left.” At 64 minutes I texted him, “Two left.” I’m good at getting stuck at the end of puzzles.

Time taken: 14:53. I struggled with this one!

The end of the Championship semi-final puzzles I’ve blogged, brings something much gentler.

Minding the shop today for Jackkt, the first thing that struck me on completion was the number of classical references

Hardest of the week but solvable with more patience than I had today.
