Hello again. This crossword I thought was harder than average, with a strong American flavour and couple of clues I have had trouble parsing

I made good progress but was slowed by at least four answers I didn’t know.

This puzzle was pretty easy, typical Monday fare, but there was a sting in the tail that I will deal with in due course.    I was more than half done shortly after the seven-minute mark, but the last two took nearly as long.

52:18, which sadly included a fifteen-minute struggle to get the last two clues. I nearly gave up, but I’m nothing if not persistent. Quite a good and challenging puzzle, in my opinion.
