Not the usual Wednesday fare but I enjoyed it while it lasted.

Mostly straightforward but but this was a DNF for me as I had to reveal my final answer.

The second puzzle in the Championship first round, but new to me today.

I found this fairly straightforward. How did you do?

I will admit I thoroughly messed up this puzzle.   I couldn’t read my own handwriting, put the word separators in the wrong place, misidentified the literal, etc, etc.   At the same time, I realized this was a high quality puzzle with a lot of novel wordplay.

This was an excellent puzzle, which I enjoyed bashing my head against at the time, and enjoyed even moreso while writing the blog.
