Hello again. This crossword I thought was about average difficulty, but with a couple of clues I have had significant trouble parsing…

I lost track of time on this one but it must have taken me nearly an hour.

This was not too difficult, only I started a bit too confidently and had to think again.  Experienced solvers should find this a typical Monday puzzle.

40 minutes on the nose, with one error. Today (Thursday in the US still) is the 44th anniversary of my birth. So not even my silly error can get me down!

Time taken: 12:14.

Much to like today, with plenty of smooth surfaces and concise clueing.

My solve was interrupted more than once so I lost track of time.

Well, so much to enjoy in this rather more challenging than usual Monday offering!
