Mephisto 3406 – At the Edinburgh rave!
Robert Teuton’s puzzle is a bit more difficult than usual, with a number of interesting words. It took me a long time to finish, and I went on many wild-goose chases without catching any wild geese.

This was an entertaining jumbo at the easier end of the spectrum.
Times Cryptic 29406 – Sat, 6 December 2025. All shipshape.
This was a par Saturday puzzle. It was all solvable, although not everything was smooth sailing.

A backward solve for me, right to left, which I think I found slightly more difficult than the SNITCH currently suggests. Of course, it’s all fair (and understandable now it’s filled), but the setter certainly found several garden paths down which I was more than happy to wander.
