I’m standing in for Jerry this week as he walks the Pennine Way for a 4th time. Good luck to him with that. I got a bit of an easier one to blog than last week’s and it took me an about average time.

This was a cracker of Jumbo Cryptic with lots of zany and witty definitions and clever wordplay. It took me twice as long as an average Jumbo and was twice as much fun.

I haven’t got a solving time for this as I did it in fits and starts but I didn’t find anything difficult.

Hello everyone. Sorry to be a little late on parade. Fortunately this didn’t cause me any headaches; it took me 53 minutes and any unknowns were easily deduced. All enjoyed as usual – thanks setter!

Fairly straightforward with a few exceptions. I finished it in one session lasting a few minutes over an hour.

This was the bonus Bank Holiday Monday Jumbo. A pleasant solve and on the easier side, but, as usual, there were a couple of unknowns I had to check

Solving all the clues and parsing everything pushed me over the hour for this one putting it in the harder category on my personal scale.  There were a number of very pleasing clues.
