  1. As a relative newbie to the Mephisto, I’m still calibrating my experience. About 70 minutes so, I guess, at the easier end of the spectrum. I supplement my lack of knowledge by trawls of Chambers when I’m stuck, which I thought was the reference tome for this. But 25a IRASCUND, isn’t in my version. So what is the definitive guide? Thanks for the blog Jim for helping my understanding even if nonone else notices!
    1. IRACUND appears on page 804 of the 12th edition. Chambers is indeed the tome of choice

Thanks for note on spheres – you and setter are quite correct of course

      1. Ah. I have the 13th edition, and IRASCUND is conspicuous by its absence… I have irascible, irascibility, irascibly and then irate, And it is p804 too. How odd! Who stole it, and why?
    2. P.S. re 12d. A dome is only half a hemisphere, so our setter is correct… you need four half domes to make a sphere.
