The venue is so cryptic it omits the city! Oxford, of course.
And that was me getting into the spirit of things amd making you guess.
I am very grateful to Andy for putting this up. The course is very elementary and really designed for beginners who have little idea about cryptic clues. There’s a progressive whizz through the basic clue types interspersed with group solving. It isn’t aimed at the core solver on this bosrd, but I know that beginners are often lurking, and you might have friends whio’d like a day out in Oxford. I’ve already run this course for Oxford’s extramural department, and was asked to run it for a church building fund. I suspect that there will be very few if any from the congregation!
