“Further” fun for big grid fans

A middle-of-the-road Jumbo with the usual smattering of harder clues and less familiar words among the easier clues

I found this relatively gentle, with not too much obscurity or convoluted wordplay

Hi everyone. I feared this would be a toughie when my first pass of the across clues yielded little. However, I’m often just a bit slow to get going and the downs proved more fruitful. All in all, an excellent enjoyment/time ratio – thanks setter!

A pleasant solve apart from two or three obscurities

A bit of a curate’s egg this one, with some good clues and some not so good.

Rather a tricky but very entertaining Jumbo. Some cracking clues include a topical &lit, some witty wordplay and several clever IKEAN constructions.

A fairly gentle Jumbo I think…
