This was the gentlest of Jumbos among the herd to be found at this time of year. I don’t keep a record of my Jumbo times, but this may have been my quickest ever. Thank-you setter.

I thought this was pretty straightforward for a holiday season puzzle, breezing through in one session in under 40 minutes.

Hello, and Happy New Year!  Our seasonal bling is cleared away but there is still a plentiful supply of chocolate to polish off – just how I like it.

This was, I’m sure, the first time I’ve ever done a Jumbo in less than half an hour.  So thank you very much, setter, for that welcome gift.

I thought this the best Cryptic Jumbo we’ve had for ages – full of entertaining clues of which there are too many to pick a favourite.  It was also quite  chewy in places. Thank-you setter!

I toiled with this for about 75 minutes over three sessions but was watching World Cup football at the same time.  It took a while to get going as none of the early acrosses jumped out at me (although with hindsight some of them are very straightforward).

Hi all.  For once I have a proper solving time to report as I put my head down for a single jumbo session.  I started well, with lots done after 20 minutes, but after that was surprised to finish in (just) under 45 minutes, which is good for me for a Jumbo.  Had to trust the wordplay in quite a few places, and the last quarter of an hour or so could have easily taken twice as long and ended with gaps or wrong answers, so I was lucky.  Thanks setter!
