I made hard work of this one, having to guess a couple of phrases and idioms I didn’t know (but probably are common knowledge).

This ended badly for me but I enjoyed the solve for the most part.

Here’s a perfectly simple Monday puzzle for your enjoyment.   Yes, there were some things I didn’t see as I solved, or didn’t know, but that didn’t stop me from writing in the correct answers. 

36:40. I found this quite difficult, although several times I had the correct answer, rejected it, only discovering later that I’d been correct. The lower-right corner was particularly tricky.

Another not-so-tricky but pleasant Wednesday, with a bit of literature and some geography to test our GK.
