A more straightforward Wednesday job than usual, with nicely written surfaces.

I found this really easy.

This puzzle gave me considerable difficulty.   I tried to start in the top, but since I was making little progress, I shifted to the bottom, where I was able to get a few crossing letters and was able to write in some longer answers.  

30:32, a time which includes a short nap. Let me make clear that the nap in no way reflects the quality of the puzzle: I found this to be a nice challenge, a tasteful mix of easier and more difficult clues.

Some inspired work here from our setter, misdirecting me several times.

Most of this went in quite easily but some of the parsing was a bit tricky
