I forgot to mention that the current version of Times for the Times was two years old on Saturday. In the past I’ve used anniversaries as a chance to ask if any of our readers would like to suggest improvements. Quite a few aspects of the way we now operate are the result of your suggestions, so don’t be shy (but do read the profile, linked as “About this blog…” in case you’re about to suggest something we’ve already decided not to do.)
Thanks to our writers, both regulars and the “subs’ bench”. Looking back at the first post, five of the original seven weekly contributors are still here, so some will have written about a hundred reports.
9 months ago I didn’t know my Amati from my Erato and now I’m solving puzzles in under 10 minutes. Thanks guys!
I’m not volunteering, I haven’t been able to finish it. The October edition was quite challenging. I think some of the words are only in one dictionary, and it’s one I don’t have a copy of.
However, I am still five obscure words from completing it.
