On October 8 November 3rd this year, according to Amazon, you’ll be able to buy “How to Master The “Times” Crossword: The “Times” Cryptic Crossword Demystified”. Apparently this is by Tim Moorey, one of the Mephisto setters, who runs ‘How to solve’ courses. If you read it quickly, it might just help you for the Championship (on 12th Oct). Here’s the Amazon UK page. All I know at present (except that Tim is well-qualified to write it) is that it attempts to be more “user-friendly” than Brian Greer’s 2001 book “How to Solve the Times Crossword”).
