Quick Cryptic no 2655 by Wurm

A very pleasant puzzle from Wurm, who I have always found to be one of the more reliably approachable setters.

I found this Jumbo Cryptic on the easier side. As usual there were a couple of (to me) unknowns, but nothing unfair.

I did myself no favours by essaying ARC at 14 ac as my opening shot.
