TLS Report today

Some of you may have seen a TLS report earlier, that’s no longer visible. It was about TLS crossword 1138 (mistakenly “1139” in the header), and was a week too early. As I’m the owner of this LJ community, I used my powers and deleted it, but I have sent a copy of the content so that it can be reconstructed next week. The puzzle that should be blogged today is 1137, but I’m guessing that there may be some delay before you see a report about it.

    I was just about to post a request for a second pair of eyes in the main puzzle blog to make sure I wasn’t losing my mind, especially with the added curveball of the incorrect puzzle number.

    I’ll be posting the scheduled one shortly. I was holding off until things got cleared up.

    1. Yes, that was me with egg on my face, ketchup in my hair and the back of my skirt caught up in my underwear. The excuses are too boring and inadequate to mention. Thank you for ASAR in 1137 – I know the book backwards but it was no help at all. I don’t think I’ll attempt to emulate the lay-out but it certainly is awesome.
      1. Don’t worry about it — PB caught it pretty fast so I don’t think the world was much the wiser.

        Re the blog layout, when I get a few minutes I’m intending to make up a template for that format and share it. It’s much easier to do that it looks.
