Sunday Times Jumbo 4308 – Closing date?

Last Sunday’s puzzle was a special Jumbo. Unfortunately the online version doesn’t seem to include the closing date. Please could someone with the paper confirm when the closing date is, so that I don’t post the blog prematurely? I’ll then delete this post. Thanks!

  1. I don’t think that it was even specified as a competition puzzle on-line, though the Sunday puzzle usually is. They also had an incorrect grid at the time I printed it off.
    1. Very strange. If I click on ‘Sunday Times Jumbo’ I get ‘No crossword matched your search’. If I click on the ‘Solution’ button below, I get the crossword (but no solution).

      I think I’ll wait to post the blog until either the solution appears online or someone with the paper confirms that either this was not a competition puzzle or that the closing date has passed!

  2. Closing date in the paper is 3rd Jan 09. As a beginner I found it quite tough and have not completed it so I look forward to your solution whn you post it.
