Right, get your thinking caps on. Vote for what you think was the best puzzle of the month and the best clue of the month.
The format suggested is as follows:
Puzzle of the month: DATE, PUZZLE NUMBER, LINK TO (blog entry of) PUZZLE
Clue of the month: DATE, PUZZLE NUMBER, CLUE NUMBER, CLUE
Voting’s now finished, as this just became spam bait.
Puzzle of the month: Fri 31 Jan, 25386, http://times-xwd-times.livejournal.com/932784.html
Clues of the month: Sun 6 Jan, 4519, 14ac, Love children leading in British publicity (8) [BASTARDS]
Clues of the month: Sun 6 Jan, 4519, 19dn, Unreliable transport provided by old railway firms holding on (7) [BRONCOS]
Lots of other good stuff, but I made a mental note of these two clues, and the puzzle was a shoo-in, although Dean ran close.

As far as clues go, I particularly liked:
Fri Jan 11, 25369, 18dn, Up the ante for one such! (7) [VOLCANO]
just ahead of
Thu Jan 3rd, 25362, 14dn, Who may serve out a red and a white (4,6) [HEAD WAITER]

Favourite clue is very easy for me, and the same as Olivia’s: 25a last Saturday (25376).
My vote for puzzle of the month to 25386 too.
