Mephisto 2971 – Don Manley

New format, and I for one welcome our new Mephisto formatting overlords, as this one printed automatically on one sheet of paper. Woohoo! For many years I’ve been loading the grid and adjusting the print size between 60-70% until it would fit on one sheet of US letter paper. Now, looky-here, one single file that can be automatically adjusted for printing with clues in two columns.

I only see two question marks in my grid, so I assume this one was fairly straightforward on the mephisto scale of difficulty. I may have been too blown away by the new print capabilities to be taking careful notes.

  1. Agreed an easy puzzle – as is todays

    As to new format, when you reach my age George you may not be quite so keen on clues you struggle to read and answer squares that are too small for ones hands to cope with
