Mephisto 2896 by Tim Moorey – My Double Ton

My 200th Mephisto blog (ignoring two specials in June 2011 in memory of Mike Laws). My first was puzzle 2489 of 11th May 2008 (also by Tim Moorey as it happens).

  1. 200 blogs, well done Jim! Do you keep a record of how many altogether? Best not to dwell on how much time it has all taken!
    1. Morning Jerry

One can’t escape one’s training and as a result all my blogs are numbered! My score to date is:

      Daily Puzzle: 176
      Mephisto: 200
      Mephisto (Mike Laws Specials): 2
      Club Monthly: 2

      Total: 380

Time taken – no idea but loved every minute of it!

  2. Yes, silly question really 🙂

Well done, anyway; I have made good use of the Mephisto blogs often enough..

  3. Congratulations, Jim. I occasionally tackle the Mephisto and/or Listener, but given that right now I don’t always manage to solve the daily cryptic or the Jumbo in a timely fashion, I’ve reluctantly accepted that I may have to wait for retirement before I become a weekend regular!
  4. Many congratulations, Jim, on the double century. Long may it continue. I bring up my ton tomorrow, as it chances.
  5. Congratulations, Jim, and thanks. These blogs have been an invaluable resource as I’ve tried to learn how to do these things over the last few years.
  6. Congratulations on the milestone Jim. I haven’t kept track of how many Saturday blogs I’ve done at all, but given the time elapsed it must be over 500 by now. Unfortunately I don’t have time to do the Mephisto these days, or I’d look in more often. I did the first couple this year, determined to keep it going. Yeah, well…
