  1. Somehow I’d managed to get by without knowing Spooner’s first names, so the clue for STEELWARE confused me at first.
  2. Pretty straightforward, needed to confirm TEBET, BRANTLE and NAPPE after getting them from wordplay. I think ETRENNE appeared recently so that was in memory.
