Mephisto 2765 – Paul McKenna

There’s a bit of tricky stuff in here and one very interesting piece of wordplay, but I don’t think this will cause regular Mephisto solvers a lot of trouble.

Sorry I’m a little later than usual in getting this written up, I was on an unexpected writing assignment yesterday that worked out very well. Now if only I can find my notes.

Away we go…

  1. Found this about the same level of difficulty as the one I blogged last week, ie not too bad really.

Which was the interesting bit of wordplay, George?

    1. Forgot to mention that one in the blog… the KISH part of 8 down since it’s a wordplay component that isn’t a word or a direct homophone, it’sh an invented term.
  2. A nice easy one to get back in the Mephisto groove. I rather liked KISH for drunken plonker.
