Mephisto 2648 by Paul McKenna

Posted on Categories Mephisto
This is a very straightforward puzzle that barely required a Chambers for solving.

Today The Times carries a tribute to Mike Laws. There are three of his old puzzles plus a special tribute puzzle composed jointly by Tim Moorey and Paul McKenna. Blogs for the old puzzles will appear during the week as time permits and the special tribute puzzle blog will be posted next Sunday.

It would be fitting if the tribute puzzle attracted a bumper entry.

  1. I found the right hand side much easier than the left and did need Chambers to make serious entries into the left. I really liked 20 across.

Unfortunately I read the full definition of BROWN in Chambers to convince myself it was the answer to 17. Add another to the utterly unappealing foods whose existence I know of due to Mephistos.
