This one was a bit too easy for my liking although my last three accounted for a third of my total time, which was around 30 minutes.

  1. A steady solve with Hackney Marshes being perhaps a little too parochial even for SE-centric Times crosswords. Last in were Dyeline and Keyboard. I think it is Keyboard, as a verb, and not Seaboard at 43 with type as the definition
    1. Hi daveperry. In 49a I think the context is criminal slang. A NOSE is a grass or informant. It does seem unusual to see the expression BROWN NOSE in a “quality” newspaper!
