  1. No particular problems to report .. knew Arapaho from the Chicken Song, obvs .. DNK teleost but it sounded likely, ditto chiromancer (someone who casts spells using their feet)
  2. I have ‘Duh’ written in the margins by 49ac and 51d. But I have ‘COD’ by 34ac, 50ac (which I biffed from the H, C, and U), and 28d. No DNKs for a change. The Chicken Song?
  3. 18:14. Straightforward.
    I didn’t know TELEOST either but the wordplay was pretty clear.
    This spelling of ‘smidgen’ looked odd to me but again I followed the wordplay.
  4. I found this relatively straightforward taking 56:13 which is good for me. ARAPAHO was familiar, probably from old Westerns. CHIROMANCER was also familiar, but only from puzzles. NHO TELEOST and had to look it up to confirm. Thanks setter and sgh.
