This week I used a timer again: 33′ 04″. Slower than last week. My last few in were 6ac, 22ac, and 13dn. None of them impossible, so it was probably just me!

15:04. I found this quite tricky and very enjoyable.

I prefer to solve on paper rather than on screen, and I normally can’t give you a time. This week, though, I can report 22′ 05″. I suspect that makes this a gentle Saturday

This surely isn’t “objectively” as hard a puzzle as it seemed to me last Saturday night. It would be extremely hyperbolic to call it a “Savage Mountain,” but it was a worthy challenge that I survived unscathed.

I solved this on paper. As I typed it in, I was struck by the clever definitions.

Nothing too tricky this week from Harry, but lots of fun.

There were lots of things here that I at best vaguely remembered.

Took a few moments to find the wavelength, but I soon had a steady signal, as usual when Bob’s at the transmitter.

Whatever the vibrations, I was mostly on tune with this one.

6:52. This was at the easier end of Dean’s offerings but none the less enjoyable for that.
