This was harder than the last two that I’ve blogged. The clues are as usual quite succinct and very often deceptive by the most subtle kinds of misdirection.

Summer on this side of the world, and nothing here to stress anyone watching the Sydney New Year’s cricket test!

22:47. Well this was an absolute delight.

After the toughie a week before, we ended 2024 with a “regular” Saturday.

A bag of assorted holiday candy that arrived a few days early.

This seemed like the hardest Saturday puzzle for a very long time! Throw in several answers that I’d never heard of or barely remembered, and some trick definitions.

7:06. Not a difficult puzzle, but an absolute delight.

… and all of that in just one clue!

I can’t remember having ever worked a puzzle by Harry so quickly. Maybe I just hit the clues in the order right for me, because, on review, I note that there were plenty of tricky moves here.
