A very pleasant puzzle from Trelawney that came together nicely for me.

Once again we have a Quick Cryptic from our old friend Izetti for our Friday amusement. Some great clues. I thought it not too difficult, taking an average time for me of 5:28 but mileage for others may differ as there are a few tricky clues. COD to 3D for the obvious personal reason but I liked 1A, 4D and 8D too, among others. Thank-you Izetti! How did you all get on?

Middle of the road today.

Today’s gentle offering from Orpheus contains perhaps only one vocabularic obscurity, making this a decent entry-level puzzle. How did you get on?

Hello from London, where I am taking refuge with Mr Kitty for a break before the seasonal madness begins.  This is my last blog before all that, so I will take the opportunity to wish all of you the kind of time you would like.

An enjoyable Monday offering from Oink, I thought, with the usual piggy appearance early on and a visit from one or two of his farmyard friends too.  1d and 9d are my pick of the clues today, from a strong field.  Thanks Oink!

11 minutes and 11 seconds for me to solve this elegant puzzle from Hurley…

An easy-to-moderate puzzle with a pretty obvious theme. A couple of unusual words that may cause some eyebrows to be raised, but all fairly clued.

Some great clues and a fun puzzle from Wurm. I didn’t  know how to parse 1ac but was fortunately enlightened by an always helpful source. Just on 8 minutes – so this flowed well – especially in the top half.
