Mephisto 3406 – At the Edinburgh rave!
Robert Teuton’s puzzle is a bit more difficult than usual, with a number of interesting words. It took me a long time to finish, and I went on many wild-goose chases without catching any wild geese.
Mephisto 3405 – Paul McKenna
Greetings barred-grid fans.
Mephisto 3404 – “Picasso leans out the window…”
A Mephisto from John Grimshaw that was not that difficult, and for once many of the answer words were words I knew.
Mephisto 3403 – Robert Teuton

Mephisto 3402 – Have some coffee!
More fun from Paul McKenna, with quite a few introductory-level clues. In fact, the infamous top line was almost a write-in.
Mephisto 3401 – John Grimshaw

Mephisto 3400 – That’s a lot of fish!
OK, we’re back to the normal levels of difficulty, so it’s time to get out your Chambers again.
Mephisto 3399 – Paul McKenna
Greetings, barred-grid fans!
Mephisto 3398 – In the middle of the middle
For a John Grimshaw, this puzzle was not too bad; only of medium difficulty, with some easier starter clues. But this is still Mephisto, and it’s highly like that most solvers have not heard of the long words around the edge.
Note: This week’s Mephisto by Paul McKenna is very easy, so if you’ve been wanting to try one, now is your chance.
