An average time in the end.

Times 28547 – a kind of burr, but only just
After much faffing about at the end, and a couple that went in with a shrug, I was glad to finish this tricky little number.
Times 28535 – heaven’s breath
I found this quite tricky, failing to get a solid hold anywhere, and having to rely on wordplay to guess some answers.
Times 28523 – derived from honourable loins
A really nice puzzle with fewer unknowns than yesterday, but enough vocab on the very edge of my knowledge to make things interesting. Some beautiful clueing, too.
Times 28511 – meat and drink
Easy than some other puzzles this week.
Times 28499 – how apt it is to learn
A good test, with plenty to learn. Probably a red SNITCH day.
Times 28487 – all’s well that ends well
Half man(ageable), half beast.
Times 28475 – wherein doth sit the dread
Very pleased with my time, as this felt like more of a stinker than late.
Times 28463 – the weakest goes to the wall
A good Friday tester, but not so fiendish to have caused any of you real problems I suspect.
Times 28451 – what even-handed justice commends
Difficult enough for me, but not the dreaded Friday beast that Verlaine so often seemed to brush off with delight.
