Some interesting clueing topped in my view by my LOI 15d which combined with 24a provided a lengthy coda of brow-furrowing brainache.
A gentle Wednesday this week, with a couple of entries from the urban dictionary and three tolerable homophones.
Quality surfaces today from Jalna, who serves up perfectly crafted sentences almost every clue.

I found this a typical Monday, and while I had trouble getting started, I was able to find a foothold in the bottom half and make rapid progress. I was also helped by a certain Quickie from last week, and broke out into the top half.
Hi all. Today’s puzzle is by Mara. For me, despite a few moments’ glazed look at 12a it went down like a charm. My COD is 1d, the surface of which is rather appropriate as I write this. Thanks Mara!
