Times Quick Cryptic 2644 by Hurley

A rare sub-10 minute solve for me these days…

I completed this in two sessions. It wasn’t the easiest of Jumbos an da few of the clues were very hard indeed.

50 minutes.

An enjoyable puzzle with some inventive clues along the way but others perhaps a little perfunctory.

I was doing well on this one but lost at least 5 minutes on my last two in.

I found it quite easy especially in the light of rather too many recent struggles.

An excellent and interesting puzzle and not too difficult.

Today we mark the 10th anniversary of the first Quick Cryptic puzzle published by The Times, on Monday 10th March 2014.

Enjoyable and not particularly difficult.

There were some unknown bits and pieces here but I had no problems solving it.
