This puzzle took me well over my target time, but I enjoyed it so much that I didn’t mind at all.

One at the gentle end of the scale from Alex today, as shown by my time of 9:07.

An approachable puzzle from Felix, I thought.

One on the trickier end of the QC spectrum from Izetti today.

Nothing to scare the horses here, in this beautifully-clued puzzle from Jalna.

One on the easier end from Teazel, but with some parsing difficulties. Fortunately, helpful crossing letters came to my aid.

A real toughie today from Hurley, which took me 27 minutes to complete.

Nothing too outlandish in this offering from Felix. It was a quick solve for me today, all done in 9:15, for a rare sub-10 minute outing.

Lots to like here, although I found this trickier than normal from Trelawney. The three down clues in the NW corner all held out to the very end, as did the storyteller.

I thought I was in for a real battle here after my first pass through all the across clues resulted in only three answers. Three!
