A few unusual words held me up here, especially the apt 3d.

I enjoy tackling an Orpheus puzzle and this was no exception.

It was probably just me but I didn’t find this particularly easy with several less common words and some tricky parsing.

Pleasant puzzle today from Jalna which didn’t cause me too many difficulties.

Few obscurities in this pleasant puzzle from Alex. 

Myles has set what for me was a puzzle which provided a good challenge without being too fiendish.

A very pleasant offering from Jalna to help us get into the holiday spirit.

An enjoyable puzzle from Mara without obscurities or overly complicated parsing.

12:29. Not as hard as the Orpheus from 4 weeks ago but the two long answers and some less common words, eg 12a, extended my solving time.

11:42; all present and correct. Not as hard as the Orpheus I blogged a couple of weeks ago but still more than enough to keep the solver honest
