Mephisto 2749 – Tim Moorey

I’m posting this just a scratch early (hopefully – if I get it done before boarding time) at the Charlotte Douglas International Airport. Hooray for airports with free wi-fi (I could post from my phone but it’s a hunt-and-peckstravaganza). Speaking of peckstravaganza, this is one of the more blokey crosswords I’ve ever done, with a willy, a todger, and the word riglin, whose definition in Chambers is enough to make any male cringe. Let’s see if we can get through it…

One comment on “Mephisto 2749 – Tim Moorey”

  1. I did begin to wonder quite what Tim had for breakfast when he compiled this one. I resisted the temptation to look for a theme, not being entirely certain that I could cope at my age.

At 1A George it’s ALF RAMSEY, one time manager of the English football team. Not one I’d expect you to know. Whether Alf had problems with his…..no, let’s not go there!
