Mephisto 2893 – Tim Moorey

I managed to get about half of this done while doodling at the pub, so I don’t think it was on the difficult side. A couple of pieces of tricky wordplay, and as opposed to last week, a 90-degree symmetry grid with very generous checking, so I’m surprised at the low number of obscure words.

Australia is walloping up on New Zealand in the cricketball, so I’m in a good mood!

One comment on “Mephisto 2893 – Tim Moorey”

  1. Nothing to frighten the horses here. Not as east as the previous two weeks but still on the gentle side

No reason you should know of FOYLE George – very UK-centic reference to a series perhaps best known for high quality acting performance by Michael Kitchen as FOYLE
