Jumbo 1004

Either this puzzle was easier than usual, or my nasty head-cold was actually speeding up the thought processes – I finished it in a little under 19 minutes.

As ever, * indicates an anagram.

  1. Well, I found this easy too, but not that easy Helen! Around 35 mins for me, in two sessions. Possibly if I had a head cold… 🙂
Parsing of 3dn was a mystery, until now.
  2. Well, I suppose I found it easy, too, since I got it in under an hour (57′). Couldn’t parse 3d, or 2d, and DNK ‘cradle’ in the relevant sense at 50ac, THYMOL, CHORIAMB, or ONCER–although that may have appeared in a cryptic before. I liked 16ac and 56ac.
